Raspberries pureed with sugar for the winter

This is a simple recipe with a photo of a real vitamin bomb that can be prepared for the cold season. Ripe raspberries, pureed with sugar for the winter, are an indispensable aid in the fight against colds and fever. It's also a delicious treat that can be enjoyed with tea, sweet buns, or as a filling for pies. It's prepared completely without heat treatment.
This healthy preserve should be stored exclusively in the refrigerator. Even though we're using a large amount of granulated sugar, the berries can begin to ferment at high temperatures. Therefore, storing them in the pantry is not recommended.
List of ingredients:
- raspberries – 1000 g,
- granulated sugar – 1500 g.
How to make raspberries with sugar
Try to use undamaged and dry raspberries. Otherwise, increase the amount of sugar. Pour the raspberries into a bowl.
And sprinkle with granulated sugar.
Next, puree everything using a blender. If this isn't possible, you can process the berries in a regular meat grinder and only then add the sugar. If you don't like small seeds in the jam (raspberries have a lot of them), you can strain the berries through a sieve. However, this will use up a lot more raspberries and your time.
Let's prepare the containers for our sweet raspberry puree. Wash the small jars with baking soda and dry them. Now fill them with the healthy mixture, topping them with a generous handful of sugar to act as a barrier against external factors.
Cover with nylon lids. Store in the refrigerator, but be careful not to store these raw raspberries for more than six months.
And in order to prolong its life, you can put it in the freezer, but not in a glass container, but, for example, in food containers.
