Awesome recipe – hot peppers with honey for the winter
Today's special is hot pickled peppers with honey. The recipe is simple, with photos, and the results are finger-licking good. The peppers are sweet and spicy, very piquant.
This pepper will add a wonderful touch of variety to appetizers on a festive or everyday table. It pairs perfectly with meat, poultry, and game dishes. Spicy appetizers always find their fans. It's best to wear gloves when handling this pepper to prevent your hands from burning from the hot pepper. You can add garlic, herbs, and spices to the peppers. Be sure to stock up on at least one jar of hot peppers for future use.
Ingredients:
- hot pepper – 4 pcs.;
- honey – 1 tbsp;
- water – 350 ml;
- salt – 1 tsp;
- vinegar 9% - 1 tbsp.
How to make pickled hot peppers with honey
Prepare everything according to the list. Wash the pepper jar with baking soda and rinse thoroughly. Sterilize the jar using your preferred method, and boil the lid in boiling water for 10 minutes. Cut the hot pepper in half and remove the seeds.
Then, simmer the hot peppers in boiling water for 4-5 minutes. After this time, remove the pan from the heat.
Transfer the peppers to a sterile jar. Then prepare the marinade.
Pour water into a saucepan, add salt, boil for a minute, add honey, boil for another minute, pour in vinegar, remove from heat.
Pour the marinade into the jar with the peppers. Sterilize the mixture for 15 minutes after the water comes to a boil.
Seal the jar tightly with a lid, turn it upside down, cover with a blanket, and leave for 24 hours. After a while, transfer the peppers to the pantry.

You can do it easier! Instead of putting the peppers in a jar, put them in a saucepan with brine and boil for about 5 minutes. Then, while hot, put them in jars and seal them. That's it! No sterilization required.
