Bright "Blot"

The variety of colors and shapes of bell peppers will delight even the most discerning aesthete, and the "Klyaksa" variety, with its unusual purple color, stands out among them all.

Interesting! Its unusual color is due to its high anthocyanin content. This pigment allows the plant to withstand cold weather well and capture maximum sunlight, allowing the fruit to ripen even in unfavorable conditions. The average yield is 10-12 peppers per plant.

Description of the variety

Klyaksa is a mid-season, large-fruited bell pepper variety with a high yield. It is suitable for both open-ground cultivation and greenhouse cultivation. It has proven itself in central Russia. It takes 125-135 days from germination to technical maturity. The plant is semi-spreading and can reach 1 meter in height. To maintain the correct shape, pinch the tops when it reaches 25-30 cm.

Fruit characteristics

"Klyaksa" is a high-yielding variety with fruit weighing 130-200 grams. The fruit is fragrant and pleasantly flavorful. Cone-shaped, drooping, and glossy. When ripe, the fruit is purple, turning crimson-golden when fully ripe. These versatile peppers are good for eating raw, canning, and freezing. The fruit is very juicy, with walls 5-6 mm thick.

During the growing season, the plant is fed at least 3-4 times.

Attention! Despite its versatility, it is best to use this variety without heat treatment, otherwise its wonderful color will lose its beauty.

Agricultural technology

Peppers are a rather finicky crop, so they are grown only from seedlings. Seedlings are sown in February. It's a good idea to pre-treat the seeds with a deep purple solution of potassium permanganate; if desired, they can be soaked in a growth stimulant. Fertilizing begins when the first pair of leaves emerges.

After treatment, the seeds are lightly dried and then planted in pre-moistened soil. After germination, the peppers are mulched with peat or a mixture of soil and humus.

At least 50 days after germination, the seedlings can be planted in open ground. The planting pattern is 60 x 40 cm. Sweet pepper It responds favorably to watering, but does not tolerate excess moisture, so it should be watered not too abundantly, but often.

Important! Timely pruning of bushes helps to significantly increase the yield!

I'm an experienced gardener and I love peppers. I've been growing them for a long time and have tried many different varieties. I first tried Klyaksa two years ago. I really liked it for its ease of care. And my family loves it for its unusual color. Salads with it look very elegant.

I grow seedlings for sale. This variety is an acquired taste. Germination is good, and the seedlings are strong. Some people are put off by the color of the future fruits, but those familiar with the variety readily buy them. It's a favorite among gardeners who don't have the time to meticulously care for their plants.
