Tomatoes pureed with garlic

Garlic-puréed tomatoes are a piquant, spicy winter preparation that will appeal to lovers of tasty, savory sauces. These tomatoes can be added to soups and borscht. For this recipe, it's important to use sweet, juicy, and plump tomatoes. Adjust the amount of sugar and salt to your taste.
Ingredients:
- tomatoes – 700 g;
- garlic – 5-6 cloves;
- salt, sugar – to taste;
- vinegar 9% - 1 tbsp.
How to prepare pureed tomatoes with garlic
Prepare all the ingredients – for this preparation you only need tasty tomatoes. Wash and dry the tomatoes.
Make a cross-shaped cut on each tomato using a sharp knife.
Bring water to a boil on the stovetop. Transfer the tomatoes to a saucepan or bowl, pour boiling water over them, and let them steam for 7-10 minutes. Drain the water afterward.
Peel the garlic cloves, rinse and dry.
Easily peel the tomatoes and remove the stem.
Cut each tomato into small pieces.
Place tomatoes and garlic in a food processor.
Grind tomatoes and garlic on high power until smooth.
Transfer the tomato to a bowl or saucepan. Add salt and sugar to taste. Simmer for 7-10 minutes, adding a little vinegar for good measure.
Pour the tomato and garlic into jars and immediately seal with sterile lids.
Place the cooked tomatoes upside down, cover with a blanket, and leave for 24 hours. After this time, store them in the cellar.
