How to prepare tomatoes with cinnamon for the winter
Wash the tomatoes. Place the dill, sliced garlic, and a small slice of hot pepper in a dry, sterile jar.
Place the tomatoes in the jar as tightly as possible, but carefully, so as not to damage the fruit.
Pour boiling water over the tomatoes for a third of an hour.
While we're waiting, begin making the brine: in a saucepan or small pot, combine clean water, 4 tablespoons of sugar, a tablespoon of salt, ½ teaspoon of ground cinnamon, dried bay leaves, and cloves. Bring the brine to a boil and add 4 tablespoons of vinegar.
Next, pour the now cooled water out of the jar and fill it with fresh, hot brine.
We seal it with sterile lids and leave it upside down, wrapped up, to cool.
We store the preparations in a cool, dark pantry.
