Finger-licking tomatoes with plums

Try preserving these "finger-licking good" tomatoes and plums for the winter using our recipe with photos. Delicious pickled tomatoes can often be found in a good housewife's pantry and on supermarket shelves. But if you're getting a bit tired of the traditional dish, you can experiment a little with the recipe and try adding an extra ingredient to the jar of brightly colored tomatoes. For example, plums. This combination may seem a bit odd at first, but plums actually add a touch of sweetness to the dish without ruining the familiar flavor. Serve the preserves on one large platter. The combination of fruits and vegetables looks very impressive and, of course, immediately attracts guests' attention.

How to Make Finger-Lickin' Tomatoes and Plums
First, prepare the main ingredients: wash the plums and tomatoes thoroughly, removing the stems. Peel the garlic and wash all the cloves.
The prepared ingredients are enough for two liter jars of finished product.
Next, remove the plum pits and check that there are no worms.
Place all ingredients in clean and steamed jars: chili pepper - a couple of pieces, plums, tomatoes, parsley - all mixed together.
Pour boiling water over everything.
After this, the full jars need to be covered with lids and left alone for 20 minutes.
Then we replace the regular metal lid with a new one with special containers and drain the liquid into the pan.
Add garlic and peppercorns to the jar.
Add sugar, salt, vinegar, and oil to a saucepan with water. Bring the marinade to a boil and then pour into the jars.
After this, we roll up the jars and wrap them in a blanket. Once the preserves have cooled, they should be transferred to a cellar or pantry.
There they will wait for their turn to remind the hostess and guests of summer in winter.
