How to make Mexican salad
Cut the bologna sausage into small cubes and place in a salad bowl. This salad can be made with any sausage, for example, smoked or ham – it will create a new flavor every time.
We throw the canned corn into a sieve, rinse it with boiled water, when the water drains, we put the corn in a salad bowl with sliced sausage.
Grate any hard cheese on a coarse grater and add the grated cheese to the sausage with corn.
Cut half a sweet and sour apple into thin strips and place the sliced apple in a salad bowl. To prevent the apple from browning in the air, you can sprinkle it with lemon juice.
Remove the seeds from the sweet bell pepper, cut it into small cubes, and add the chopped pepper to the remaining ingredients.
Dice the pickled cucumbers. You can use barrel-salted cucumbers instead of pickled ones.
Season the salad with herbs - add finely chopped dill or green onions.
Drizzle with high-quality extra virgin olive oil and mix the ingredients thoroughly. Place on a platter or in a deep bowl.
Cut the cherry tomatoes in half and place them on top. It's not recommended to mix the tomatoes with the other ingredients, as they will release juice and the dish will be soggy.
Place mayonnaise in the center of the salad, sprinkle with ground red pepper, and garnish with chili rings.
