Apple jam "Five minutes"

Everyone loves sweets, especially making preserves for the winter. There are different ways to make apple jam. I'll share with you my favorite recipe, what I call "five-minute jam." It's very simple and quick to make.
It goes well with tea, pancakes, ice cream, and can be used as a filling for buns or pies. This winter treat should be prepared in abundance.
The essence of this method is that the jam is cooked in several stages, each lasting 5 minutes. Between stages, the jam simply cools and requires no extra attention. The apples retain all their beneficial properties during the cooking process, as they are cooked for a minimal amount of time.
Ingredients:
- apples – 1 kg;
- sugar – 500 gr.
How to make "Five-Minute" apple jam
We select the most beautiful apples for the jam, so that the result will have an aesthetically pleasing appearance. It's best if you have your own apples, homemade ones. We choose the ones that suit us best and rinse them thoroughly under running water.
Remove the cores. Cut the apples into medium-sized pieces. You can peel the skins if desired; this will make the jam more tender.
Sprinkle the fruit with sugar, cover with a lid and shake to distribute the sugar evenly.
Now let the apples sit for 3 hours. Once the sugar has completely dissolved and the apples have released their juices, we begin the next step.
Pour the mixture into a saucepan.
Place the apples over medium heat and bring to a boil. Once boiling, set a timer for 5 minutes to ensure the apples are cooked through.
After 5 minutes, remove the fruit from the heat and let it cool for about 6 hours. Then return the apples to the heat, bringing them to a boil and simmering for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and let the apples cool for 12 hours or overnight. Finally, finish the process by returning the apples to the heat and simmering for 5 minutes.
Place the apple mixture with syrup into pre-prepared sterile jars, roll them up immediately, turn them over and let them cool.
The apple jam is ready and is perfect as a filling, as a jam, and will simply delight everyone with its taste and aroma.
