Delicious tomatoes for the winter with fragrant marigolds
Vegetables are usually preserved with a spice mix—dried dill, pepper, or garlic. Have you ever considered using marigold flowers instead of spices? I offer a simple recipe for tomatoes with marigolds for the winter. Its simplicity lies in the fact that you don't need to cook the marinade or add a lot of spices. All you need is salt, sugar, vinegar, water, tomatoes, and three marigold flowers.
If you're hearing about this recipe for the first time and want to try it, I recommend starting with a small batch and seeing how delicious and unique the tomatoes are.
Preparation takes no more than 40 minutes, meaning you won't have to stand in a hot kitchen all day. Below you'll find the calculated proportions for a 3-liter jar.

- tomatoes - 1.5 kg;
- marigolds - 3 pcs.;
- salt - 2 tbsp;
- sugar - 3.5 tbsp;
- vinegar 9% - 3 tbsp;
