How to make quick cookies without an oven
Place fresh sour cream in a bowl. If the sour cream is sour, you'll need to add a pinch of baking soda along with the baking powder, otherwise the cookies will turn out too sour.
Break a large egg into a bowl.
Add refined odorless vegetable oil.
Add granulated sugar and a pinch of salt. Mix the ingredients thoroughly with a whisk until the sugar crystals dissolve.
Add wheat flour and baking powder (soda) into a bowl in small portions and knead the dough.
It's difficult to determine the exact amount of flour, so I recommend focusing on the consistency of the dough—it should easily form a ball.
Pinch off small pieces of dough, roll into balls, and place on a board sprinkled with flour.
Flatten the balls with a spatula.
We use any flat, textured object to create a pattern on the cookies. I used a meat mallet; it has something like a flower on one end.
Place a cast-iron skillet on the stove, heat it up, and add the cookies. Fry without oil over low heat until golden brown on each side.
Remove the finished cookies from the pan, sprinkle with powdered sugar and ground cinnamon. Serve with tea.
Bon appetit.
