Methods of growing zucchini:

1. Seedlings. This method is used at the onset of summer. First, the seeds need to be treated. This is done as follows:
— the seeds are kept in hot water for several hours, then immediately cooled under cold water;
— the seeds are soaked in a solution of Fitosporin for at least 8 hours;
— aloe juice is mixed with water and the seeds are kept in it for 40 minutes, then rinsed with water.

Before planting, the seeds need to be germinated. To do this, place them in a damp cloth in a warm place.
Planting is done in pots. The container should be medium-sized. One seed fits into each pot.
The optimal growing temperature is 20 degrees.

Watering should be done regularly to prevent the soil from drying out. Insufficient moisture can cause seedlings to rot.
Fertilizing. The first application is carried out one week after germination. A second application is necessary 7 days after the first. It is best to use ready-made fertilizers: Flor Humate, Hera, Agricola.
When planting outdoors, be careful not to disturb the root system. Carefully cut the cup and transplant it into the hole. Then water thoroughly and provide shade.

2. Seeds. First, prepare the soil: plow it and add humus and manure. You can also fertilize it with superphosphate, ammonium nitrate, or ash.
Sow the seeds at a distance of 70 centimeters. It's advisable to cover the seedlings with a plastic bottle.

Caring for zucchini

Bush formation. During flowering, trim off a few leaves in the center of the bush. This will allow pollinating insects to reach the buds.

Harvesting. It's best to harvest the fruit when it reaches 25 centimeters in length. These fruits are cut with a 5-centimeter stalk.

Features of growing zucchini

Zucchini grows as a bush, without branches, and has a neat appearance. They grow to a small size. The fruits are oblong, dark green, and patterned. The flesh is soft and tender.

Zucchini prefers warm weather conditions. Frost is detrimental to it.

The flowers are large, making them easy for insects to pollinate. The leaves are large, sometimes with patterns.

For optimal growth, a temperature of 23 degrees Celsius is recommended. Zucchini prefers moist soil and ample watering. Moisture is especially important during the flowering period.
