- cabbage – 150 g;
- carrots – 1 pc.;
- onion – 1 pc.;
- potatoes – 3-4 pcs.;
- salt, pepper – to taste;
- vegetable oil – 2 tbsp;
- water – 70 ml.
How to cook stewed cabbage with potatoes
Prepare all ingredients according to the list. Peel, rinse, and dry the onion. Cut the onion into small cubes.
Peel the carrots, then wash and dry them. You can grate them on a medium grater or cut them into strips.
Next, it's the cabbage's turn: rinse it, remove the outer leaves, and cut the cabbage into thin strips.
Peel, wash, and dry the potatoes. Cut the tubers into large strips.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, add cabbage, carrots and onions, fry the vegetables for a few minutes, then add the potato sticks to the pan.
Add salt, ground pepper, and optional spices to the pan. Pour water over the vegetables, cover the pan with a lid, and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes.
