Ingredients:
- cucumber brine – 200 ml;
- sunflower oil – 120 ml;
- sugar – 270 g;
- wheat flour – 500 g;
- baking soda – 1 tsp.
How to bake cookies with pickle brine
Pour cucumber brine and unflavored sunflower oil into one container.
Add sugar and a teaspoon of baking soda. Mix thoroughly.
You can use a blender or do this by hand. Now add the wheat flour in small portions.
Mix thoroughly with a spoon. When the dough thickens and becomes stiff, begin kneading it with your hands.
Before kneading, sprinkle the countertop with flour to prevent the dough from sticking. If you need more flour, add it as you knead. Now roll the dough out into a large sheet.
The thickness of the dough should be about half a centimeter. If you roll it thinner, the cookies will be crispy, and if you roll it thicker, the cookies will be soft. Next, cut out the cookies using cookie cutters.
If you don’t have special molds, you can use a regular glass with a small neck.
Now place the cookies on a lined baking sheet.
Bake until the cookies become beautiful, golden and rosy.
Bake at 180°C (350°F). It's worth noting that this dough cooks very quickly, so be careful not to burn the cookies. If desired, sprinkle the finished cookies with powdered sugar.
