How to deliciously fry champignons
Wash the mushrooms and place them on paper towels to absorb excess moisture. Slice the prepared mushrooms into slices, stems included. The mushrooms will shrink further during frying, so there's no point in chopping them too finely.
Peel the onion, rinse it, and cut it into quarter rings. This way, the onion will fry evenly with the mushrooms and won't remain soggy.
Pour oil into a frying pan, heat briefly, and add the mushrooms. Fry over medium heat to release excess moisture. Stir occasionally while frying to ensure an even crust.
After 4-5 minutes, add the onion to the pan. Begin frying everything together, adding salt and pepper to taste.
Fry the mushrooms and onions for another 5-6 minutes and taste. If the seasoning is sufficient, the dish is ready.
The mushrooms are juicy, aromatic, and delicious. Garnish them with freshly chopped dill. Enjoy!
