Ingredients for 2 servings:
- boiled beef – 150 g;
- red salad onion – ¼ pc, small;
- canned red beans – 4 tbsp;
- pickled cucumbers – 1 pc.;
- potatoes, boiled in their skins - 1 pc;
- fresh tomato – 1 pc.;
- homemade mayonnaise – 3-4 tablespoons;
- olives – for decoration.
How to make the "Treachery and Love" salad
First, prepare all the ingredients. Cut the boiled beef into small cubes – approximately 0.5 cm each. Cut the pickled cucumbers into small cubes as well.
Peel the onion, rinse, and chop finely. If you're using non-sweet salad onions, pour boiling water over them and let them cool—this will prevent them from becoming too bitter. Peel the potatoes and chop them finely.
Place the canned beans in a colander to drain off excess liquid.
Wash and dry the tomato.
Cut the tomato into the same small cubes as the other ingredients. However, use only the firm part and discard the pulp and seeds.
We form the salad using a culinary ring and lay the salad out in layers.
Place the ring in the center of a flat plate and lightly grease the inside with mayonnaise.
Place a layer of beef and coat with mayonnaise.
Next, add the onion and grease with mayonnaise.
Place the beans and grease with mayonnaise.
Then we put in the pickled cucumbers and grease them with mayonnaise.
Next, add a layer of potatoes, pressing them down lightly. Also, spread with mayonnaise.
Place a layer of tomatoes. The tomato pieces should cover the entire surface of the salad, meaning the top of the salad should be completely red.
Cut the olives lengthwise into 4-6 pieces. Form the "black heart" from the olive pieces.
Carefully remove the ring.
The "Treachery and Love" salad can be served immediately.
