- Chinese cabbage – 100 g;
- hard cheese – 60 g;
- hard-boiled eggs – 2 pcs;
- jacket potatoes - 1 pc (medium size);
- onions – 0.5 pcs (small size);

- salt to taste.
For the marinade:
- salt – 0.5 tsp;
- sugar – 0.5 tsp;
- vinegar – 1 tsp;
- water – 60 ml.
How to make Swan Down salad
Peel and rinse the onion. Finely chop the onion. Add salt, sugar, vinegar, and boiling water, and stir. Let the onion marinate for 10 minutes. Then drain in a sieve.
Peel the potatoes and grate them coarsely. Cut the chicken fillet into strips or small cubes.
Peel the eggs and separate the whites from the yolks. Grate the whites on a coarse grater and the yolks on a medium grater. Grate the hard cheese on a medium grater as well.
Wash and dry the Chinese cabbage. Finely shred the cabbage, using only the tender, outer part of the leaves.
We'll form the salad using a culinary ring. You can form the salad without one, but it won't be as neat and appetizing. Place the culinary ring in the center of a flat plate. Lightly grease the inside of the ring with mayonnaise. Place the potatoes as the first layer, pressing them down lightly. Grease with mayonnaise.
Place the pickled onions.
Place the chicken fillet on top of the onion, press it lightly and create a mayonnaise mesh.
Place the yolks and make a mayonnaise mesh.
Then we put in the whites and again make a mesh of mayonnaise.
Then add the grated cheese and spread it evenly. Don't forget the mayonnaise.
Carefully remove the ring.
Sprinkle the Napa cabbage over the salad, forming a "dome." It's okay to let some of the cabbage remain on the plate around the salad, but if you can do it neatly, it's simply wonderful!
Let the salad sit for 10-15 minutes and serve.
