How to make Minute Salad

Cut the ham into small cubes. Arrange in an even layer in the bottom of a salad bowl. For aesthetics, it's best to use a clear glass bowl, as the salad is made in layers.

cut the ham

Spread mayonnaise (homemade or salad-grade is best for this salad) over the meat layer. Grate hard cheese on a coarse grater. Form the next layer, spreading it over the surface.

Add another portion of mayonnaise sauce on top and spread it evenly. Dice the tomato. It's best to use firm, fleshy tomatoes for this salad, as they won't make it watery.

Coat the tomato cubes with mayonnaise again. Then grate the hard-boiled eggs and spread them evenly over the salad.
