The "Extraordinary Tenderness" salad simply melts in your mouth.
We all know plenty of delicious salad recipes that we prepare for holidays or just for family dinners. But often, when we're tired of all the same dishes, we want to try something new.
I'd like to share with you a recipe for a wonderful salad called "Extraordinary Tenderness." The name speaks for itself. It's incredibly tender and delicious, despite being made with the simplest and most straightforward ingredients, and it's easy to make at home. This salad will be a hit with every guest or family member.
I use mayonnaise for the "Extraordinary Tenderness" salad dressing. If you're not a fan, you can substitute your favorite sauce, but that's up to you. This step-by-step recipe with photos includes carrots, so feel free to experiment with them a bit, as you can add either cooked or raw carrots—your taste will play a big role here. You can also add Korean carrot seasoning.
This salad can be made any time of year, as it doesn't require seasonal ingredients; most of the time, we have all the ingredients on hand. This is another advantage of this dish, which any cook will appreciate. To make the salad look beautiful, I recommend garnishing it with a carrot flower and some fresh herbs.
Ingredients:
- chicken fillet – 250 grams;
- eggs – 3 pieces;
- rice – 40 grams;
- carrots – 1 piece;
- garlic – to taste;
- salt, black pepper – a pinch;
- cheese – 100 grams;
- mayonnaise – 2-3 tablespoons.
How to make the "Extraordinary Tenderness" salad
First, prepare the chicken breast. Rinse it and boil it in water (with salt) for about half an hour. You can add peppercorns and a bay leaf to the water to give the meat a richer flavor.
Cut the cooked meat.
Boil the eggs until hard-boiled – cooking time is 10-15 minutes. Cool, then grate.
Rinse the rice thoroughly, cover with cold water, and cook until done, stirring occasionally.
Make the dressing: mix mayonnaise with a crushed clove of garlic.
Grate the carrots.
Place the salad in layers: finely chopped fillet, mayonnaise.
Then rice, mayonnaise.
Next, add the eggs and carrots. Spread each layer with mayonnaise.
Lastly, add the hard cheese and grate it.
Garnish the salad with finely chopped dill and carrots.
