Try it, this appetizer will rightfully be your most delicious and favorite!
Ingredients:
- boiled beets – 300 g (1 pc, large);
- Korean carrot seasoning – 1 heaping tbsp;
- garlic – 1-2 cloves;
- vegetable oil – 2 tbsp;
- table vinegar – 1 – 2 tbsp;
- salt to taste.
How to cook Korean-style beets
Peel the boiled beets and grate them using a Korean carrot grater.
Place in a bowl, forming a small indentation in the center.
Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil and add the pressed garlic. Stir for 10-20 seconds. The garlic will immediately begin to release its aroma into the oil, so don't leave it on the heat for too long. Moreover, the garlic can quickly turn to charcoal in the hot oil.
Pour vegetable oil with garlic into the well on the beet mound, add spices and vinegar.
Mix well. Taste and add salt, sugar, or other spices if needed. Transfer the Korean-style beets to a sealable container and let them sit for 3 hours.
Then we serve this delicious, aromatic, moderately spicy appetizer to the table.
