Tomato "Batyanya": description and characteristicsThe "Batyanya" tomato, based on its characteristics and description, is ideal for adding to salads, which is why it's often called a salad variety. However, it also has other notable qualities that have not gone unnoticed by gardeners.

Description and characteristics of the tomato variety "Batyanya"

The "Batyanya" tomato variety is considered an early-ripening variety, as it takes no more than 100 days from planting to harvesting the first fruits. This plant grows tall (the average height of a mature bush ranges from 1.5 to 2 meters), meaning it requires staking and pinching. This tomato grows best when trained into 1-2 stems.

A single fruit ripens quite large, weighing up to 350 grams. Its shape is somewhat reminiscent of a heart with a pointed tip. The color of the "Batyanya" tomato is a rich pink. The flesh of these tomatoes is fleshy, virtually seedless, and has a very sugary flavor, making this variety a sweet tomato.

Batyanya tomatoes are excellent for making tomato paste and adding to salads, and their sweet flavor makes them irresistible fresh. However, this variety is not the best choice for canning or pickling.

Seeds should be sown for seedlings 50-60 days before planting in the ground. It's best to plant no more than four plants per square meter.

Reviews from gardeners

The "Batyanya" tomato has received numerous reviews thanks to its characteristics and description, with gardeners noting the variety's pros and cons.

«Marina: "I really liked the 'Batyanya' variety. It ripened the fastest, and the fruits were so large, fleshy, and sugary. We ate the first harvest in just a few days! However, for some reason, my bushes don't grow more than a meter tall, and the grower claims this variety can reach 1.5 to 2 meters."

Galina: "The 'Batyanya' variety is the only tomato my six-year-olds will eat, so I've been growing them for two years now. They won't eat any other tomato varieties; they apparently enjoy the sweetness of the 'Batyanya' tomato."

Elena: "You probably won't find a better variety, as it combines early maturity, high yield, and excellent flavor. Of course, I'm not a big fan of the fact that they need staking, but I still recommend giving them a try."
