Characteristics and description of the tomato "Tomande"

Tomatoes

Ribbed tomatoes are considered the most interesting and unusual. They are notable not only for their beautiful shape but also for their high yield and large fruit size.

This is the mid-season tomato variety Tomande. It was developed by American breeders and is intended for greenhouse cultivation.

External characteristics of the Tomande variety

Indeterminate bushes can reach up to 2 meters in height. Therefore, the plant requires staking and pinching. A remarkable harvest is obtained when trained into two stems. The fruits themselves are beautiful and ribbed, large, and flattened. The tomatoes are predominantly crimson in color, and each tomato weighs approximately half a kilogram. The mature fruit resembles the blossoming bud of a beautiful rose.

Features of agricultural culture

Growing the Tomande tomato variety typically involves the following procedures: loosening the soil and weeding, moistening the soil, adding natural fertilizers to promote yield and growth, and controlling pests and diseases. Experienced gardeners know that watering during the day can be dangerous. It's best to water in the evening, after the sun has set, using warm water. Carefully read the package instructions before caring for the plant. Cold water can negatively impact the root system. If you plan to fertilize the soil, use natural fertilizers, as this is a gentler method.

Advantages of the Tomande tomato variety

These fleshy tomatoes have a pleasant flavor and aroma. The fruits are eaten fresh, used in cooking, juices, and canned for the winter. This variety is quite productive. With proper care, an experienced gardener can get 3.5 kg of fruit from just one plant.

Reviews of the Tomanda variety from experienced and novice gardeners

Ulyana, 45 years old, Pavlovsk

A real gem for my garden beds! Perfect for tomato juice. I'll add it to my planting list again next year. I always try to write down everything important so I don't lose it and can find it easily later. I'm not much of an expert when it comes to growing vegetables; I prefer flowers. But Tomande won me over.

I loved the superb, slightly tart flavor. I personally don't like sweet tomatoes—it's not my thing—but I was extremely pleased with this variety. The tomatoes themselves were tender and delicious. Tomande broke all records and expectations for yield. I haven't seen anything like this in my garden for several years. And how beautifully they bloomed!

We recently bought a dacha and started growing new crops. I caught my eye at the store with Tomande. It's a very productive variety. The fruits were large and beautiful, quite juicy and sweet. I was delighted. The variety's taste is unmatched. I now recommend Tomande to all my friends and acquaintances. It's a wonderful variety, and it didn't disappoint; we harvested one of our best.
