The Zolotoy Klyk tomato is suitable for greenhouse cultivation. It produces elongated, bright yellow fruits that are suitable for both home use and retail, thanks to their excellent shelf life.
Characteristic
This variety is classified as indeterminate. The bushes can reach a height of 1.6–1.8 m, while the fruit itself is approximately 13–15 cm long. The ripening period is medium, and the flesh is moderately firm and juicy. The average weight of a ripe tomato ranges from 150 to 300 g. The leaves are regular and drooping. These tomatoes are distinguished by their small number of seeds.
Care and cultivation rules
Due to their tall growth, the bushes require timely staking with additional support. Side shoots must be pinched. The maximum tomato yield is achieved by growing 2-3 stems per bush. This variety is distinguished by its long fruiting period. With proper timing and growing practices, you can expect 3.5 kg of tomatoes per bush (approximately 12-16 fruits).
At least 60-65 days should pass from sowing the seeds to planting the seedlings in the ground. When planting, maintain a ratio of no more than 4 plants per square meter. Strong stems with several fully open leaves should be planted in the ground. During the first week after planting, water the soil thoroughly, periodically adding mineral fertilizer. It's also important to carefully loosen the soil and avoid waterlogging. Periodic pinching will allow the main fruits to receive more nutrients, and timely tying to supports will prevent the clusters from breaking and weakening, thereby preserving the harvest.
The air temperature in the greenhouse should not fall below 15-17 degrees Celsius. The maximum humidity level should not exceed 60%. Timely harvesting of the ripened fruit will protect the bunches from overload and the fruit itself from spoilage.
Containers with fertilized soil can be used to grow the seeds themselves. Until the first sprouts appear, the soil is covered with transparent film or glass. Daily ventilation is essential. Once the first sprouts appear, the additional cover is completely removed. This typically occurs 10 to 15 days after planting.
Soil preparation
The Zolotoy Klyk tomato is moderately fussy, so the soil must be fertilized, loose, and healthy. It is not recommended to plant tomatoes in soil where peppers were previously grown. However, sowing turnips in the fall will help eliminate harmful microbes and pathogenic fungi from the soil. For additional fertilization when planting seedlings, chloride-free mineral fertilizers can be used.
Pests and diseases
A poor tomato harvest can be caused by various plant diseases. This is primarily due to late blight, which manifests as a brown coating and withering, yellowed leaves. This disease thrives in an excessively humid environment. Therefore, the greenhouse should be constantly ventilated, and watering should only occur after the soil has dried during ripening. To protect the plants themselves, you can use a baking soda solution (250 g per 10 liters of water), thoroughly spraying the plants, or a two-day infusion of garlic or celandine. These treatments should be used no sooner than two weeks after planting. They also serve as a preventative measure against spider mites.
If fungicide solutions are used to control pests, it should be taken into account that the work itself can be carried out no later than 2 - 3 weeks before the expected harvest.

The Zolotoy Klyk variety proved to be quite capable of germinating under favorable conditions. After planting, the plants were automatically watered. A solution of beneficial minerals was added to the water every 10 to 12 days. These tomatoes are suitable not only for fresh salads and preserves, but are also used in sauces and juices. Many recommend this variety for improving vascular health.

The Zolotoy Klyk variety grows successfully in greenhouses with good ventilation and moderate humidity. For additional protection against diseases, I use a solution of potassium permanganate (the solution should be bright pink), in which I dip the root system before planting. For surface treatment of the bushes, I recommend a three-day infusion of wood ash (1 liter of ash per 10 liters of water). This solution neutralizes soil acidity and kills various fungi and microbes in the soil itself.
