Onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, carrots, and all kinds of greens are added to the main ingredients.

It's recommended to salt the soup sparingly, but you can add more "hot" spices—they also promote weight loss by actively helping break down fat. Fresh or dried ginger, chili pepper, garlic, and turmeric, in reasonable quantities, will give the soup a rich flavor and pleasant aroma. Ingredients:

  • white cabbage – 1/3 of a small head;
  • celery root - a quarter of a medium tuber;
  • carrots – 1 pc;
  • onions – 2 onions;
  • bell pepper – 1 pc;
  • fresh or canned tomatoes – 2 pcs;
  • green beans – 100-120 g (optional);
  • garlic – 1-2 cloves;
  • any vegetable oil – 1 tsp;
  • salt – to taste;
  • chopped ginger root – 0.5 tbsp;
  • turmeric, hot pepper – to taste.

How to make fat-burning soup

Onions are one of the main ingredients in this soup. However, boiled onions are unlikely to be to anyone's taste, so you can sauté them in a small amount of vegetable oil. A teaspoon of oil won't add many calories, and the soup will be much more flavorful. Finely chop two onions, add them to a saucepan with heated oil, and sauté over low heat until soft.

After two or three minutes, add finely chopped garlic, diced carrots and celery root.

Sauté the vegetables, without browning them, for about a minute or two. Add turmeric, ground hot pepper, finely chopped ginger root, or 1/3 teaspoon ground ginger. Let the spices warm up to release their flavor and aroma.

Add green beans and finely chopped bell pepper to the pan. In winter, it's best to use frozen vegetables; in summer, fresh is best.

Dice the fresh tomatoes, mash the canned tomatoes with a fork and add them to the vegetable mix along with a couple of tablespoons of juice.

After simmering the vegetables over low heat for a few minutes, add fresh white cabbage, cut into strips.

Stir, pour in vegetable broth or boiling water. The amount of liquid is up to you; you can make the soup thick or thin. Add salt sparingly. Bring to a boil and simmer until the cabbage is tender.
